Website delivery and security

This WordPress website is hosted through Hostinger. Requests may involve IP address, request time, requested page, browser information and technical logs. We process this information to provide the website and maintain security, based on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Retention follows the operational and security needs of hosting and applicable obligations.

Enquiry form and email

If you contact us, we use your name, email, business or website, operating location, selected subject and optional message to respond and prepare a possible engagement. The basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries, or Article 6(1)(f) for other business correspondence. Required fields are needed to handle the enquiry; sending an enquiry is voluntary. Do not submit guest records, passwords or sensitive personal information.

The form hands the message to the website mail system and our business mailbox. It does not create a public post or newsletter subscription. Hosting and mail providers process the information for delivery. We retain correspondence while needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting engagement or applicable retention requirements. A successful handoff to the mail system is not a guarantee of delivery.

Necessary protection and preferences

The form uses a security token and a hidden anti-spam field. A salted rate-limit key derived from the connection address is retained for one minute; the form handler does not store the raw address in that key. Your privacy choice is stored in your browser for up to six months. This preference is used to honour your choice.

Optional Google Analytics

Statistics are optional. Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose to allow statistics. It is provided by Google Ireland Limited and associated Google service providers. It processes usage and device information to report visits and interactions. The legal basis is consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where applicable, § 25(1) TDDDG. Analytics cookies are configured for up to six months; report retention follows the Analytics property settings.

Google may process data internationally, including in the USA, using the safeguards described in its privacy and data-processing information. You may decline without losing the enquiry function and withdraw future statistics processing using “Privacy settings”. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out with consent.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable conditions, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact the controller above. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia. We do not use your enquiry for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
